, Oberhausen, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany - GMVA combined waste incineration plant Niederrhein. The GMVA is a traditional Oberhausen company. Created in 1972 by the conversion of the coal mine of Concordia Bergbau AG, the company ensures the environmentally sound treatment of waste and commercial waste and is also a producer of electricity and district heating. Every year, up to 700,000 tonnes of waste are thermally treated. The GMVA supplies electricity for about 100,000 households in Oberhausen. The remote heat, which is fed into the network, supplies private households and commercial enterprises. Depending on the heat requirements, between 15 and 20 million liters of heating oil can be saved annually. State-of-the-art flue gas cleaning systems guarantee that almost pure air is released to the environment via the chimney. Look at the garbage collection. Waste cart unloads the garbage.
