The time fromPortland to Crawford or Fabyans is but little over three hours; andparties going by way of Portland from Boston will arrive as early as byany other Ioute. It will thus be seen, that, while rivalling all others inattractiveness, this route is as expeditious as any to the SEBAGO LAKE, Portland and Ogdensburg Railroad. A brief description of some of the more prominent points of interestwill serve to show in a slight degree the pleasure to be enjoyed in atrip through its charming scenery ; and the personal experience of allwho travel this way will relieve us from any charge of exaggerationor partiality. Sebago Lake is the bright spot in our picture ; but wewill not anticipate.
