Cloning cows, harvesting eggs. Researcher using laboratory equipment to harvest eggs (female reproductive cells) from the ovaries of a cow (Bos taurus). The egg cells will be used to create a clone. This is the Bio Sidus biotechnology company, in Argentina, which successfully cloned a cow in 2002. The cloned cows are intended to be used to produce human growth hormone (hGH) in their milk.
