Hepatitis C proteins and drug complex. Computer model showing a molecule of the protease inhibitor drug boceprevir (spheres, centre), complexed with the nonstructural proteins (ribbons) NS3 and NS4A from a hepatitis C virus (HCV) particle. Boceprevir is an antiviral used to treat HCV infection. It works by inhibiting the action of NS3 and NS4A, enzymes responsible for the proper functioning of the HCV virus particle.
