This variety is early, very prolific and hardy, and the most delicious melon grown. Skin smooth and of an em- erald green; flesh very thick, of a salmon color. It is very juicy and rich. The flesh is of a rich, salmon color, very sweet and melting in quality, and is so very thick that the melon is almost solid. Per pkt. 5 cts., oz. 10 cts., *4 lb. 30 cts., lb. $ BURRELL GEM. This melon comes from the melon-growing district, which was made famous by the Rocky Ford Musk Melon, of which this is a counterpart, ex- cept in color of flesh, which is a beautiful dark salmon or orange. If you want a de- licious melon for home use or you desire variety which will bring a fancy price on the market, this we can recommend. The melons grow to a desirable size, have slight rib and close netting.
