Abbey of Saint Michel de Cuixa (Sant Miquel de Cuixa). Benedictine abbey in territory of the commune of Codalet, in the Pyrenees-Orientales departement, France. Important cultural centre in the regency of Abbot Oliba. Detail of a Romanesque chapiter in the cloister (1126-1140): hero surrounded by monsters. It was the first cloister sculpted in Catalonia. It does not show religious themes.
