White-lipped peccaries (Tayassu Pecari). Although peccaries resemble pigs they belong to a different family (Tayassuidae). They are an extraordinarily adaptive mammal, inhabiting the desert regions of south-west Texas, west to Arizona and south through Central and South America, including the Amazon rainforest.
