White-throated kingfisher (Halcyon smyrnensis) with a fish in its beak. Also known as the white-breasted kingfisher, this bird is widely distributed throughout Eurasia from Bulgaria to Turkey, and through South Asia to the Philippines. Photographed in Israel, in August.
