I cannot see, but God has given me senseof touch. If I had no sense of touch, I could notlearn anything. I thank God from the bottom ofmy heart for all He has done for me. We shouldpray earnestly to Him and believe in His Son, JesusChrist, our sweet Saviour. I have the Gospels,printed in raised letters, and I can read them my- 38. self. I love the Twenty-third Psalm and Christs TheSermon on the Mount. I also think these verses Blind-Deafsweet : The ears of the deaf shall be unstoppedand the tongue of the dumb shall sing-; Let notyour heart be troubled ; and the fourteenth chapterof St. John, and also, God so loved the world thatHe gave His only begotten Son to die for us ; andthe tenth chapter in John, and also many verses inthe ninth chapter of John. All these I know byheart. St. Johns gospel is my favorite. I pray tomy Heavenly Father every night. God is mercifulto us all and we should be merciful to others. Ioften do wrong, and I often weep when I think ofJesus who bore all his sufferings so patiently, and Iask to be forgiven at once. I think, at heart, thatthere is not a person in the world as merciful, lov-ing, true, kind and good as God is. God gives usclothes, food, friends, teachers, homes, schools andHoly Bibles, and we should love him dearly for allHis blessings. If we are good, when we
