Detroit, Michigan - A StandDown for veterans provides help with healthcare, clothing, jobs, and other services to hundreds of veterans, many of them homeless. The event was staffed by volunteers from 30 social service agencies. A volunteer from the faith-based Covenant Community Care takes a veteran's blood pressure during a health screening.
