The California Floral Co. finds that pompon mums are more in demand for table decorations, centerpieces, etc., than the big varieties. The beauty of the autumn tints is partly responsible for making the pompons popular. The Art Floral Co. is continuing its policy of featuring mums in big baskets. In one window display pale pink Hunter mums were shown in a white basket, about eight feet in height. M. M. TACOMA, WASH. The Market. A trip along tlie avenues of the trade the last week developed the fact that business is better. Eoses, carnations and chrysanthemums are featured and are moving freely at fair prices. The late marigolds, asters and pompon dahl- ias are wonders for so late in the sea- son. Ferns are moving fast, especially Whitmanii and Norwood. Western Washington Fair.
