KUSADASI, Turkey (Oct. 5, 2014) Hospital Corpsman 3rd Class Jerry Winfrey, from Joplin, Mo., and Hospitalman Rebekah Shears, from Lawton, Okla., conduct morning colors aboard amphibious assault ship USS Bataan (LHD 5) in Kusadasi, Turkey. The Bataan Amphibious Ready Group is on a scheduled deployment supporting maritime security operations, providing crisis response capability and theater security cooperation efforts in the 6th Fleet area of operations.
