Other important characteristics are the large dust-proof bearings and the efficiency of the oiling oil rings keep the bearing surfaces well lubricatedwhenever the motor is in operation, but the oil cannotleak or be thrown out of the oil well. The motor frame is of a new design. It is a ring ofopen-hearth steel made by hot-rolling the slab into shape. Interpole Stationary Motor and welding the ends together.
