Recruits from Alpha Company, 1st Recruit Training Battalion, unlock their sea bags for their initial gear inspection during pick up at Marine Corps Recruit Depot San Diego, May 12. The new recruits conducted the inspection to ensure they had all the required gear and were prepared to begin training.
