Mirror View of The Three Brothers, Yosemite photographed by Carleton Watkins in 1872. He was a pioneer of large format landscape photography using a huge camera which used 18x22 inch glass negatives. His favourite loaction was Yosemite Vallley in Califonia and his photos of the valley were a big factor in the US government's decision to preserve it as a national park.
