One of the Napoleon III chalets in Vichy (Allier - France). Known as "Imperial" or "Swiss", those pavilions were the private dwelling places of the Emperor and his retinue during their stays in Vichy. Of an English colonial or Savoyard inspiration, they were erected since 1863 by the architect Jean Lefaure. Un des chalets Napoléon III à Vichy 03200 (Allier 03 - Auvergne - France). Ces chalets dits « impériaux» ou « suisses» furent les demeures privées de l’Empereur et de la suite impériale durant leurs séjours à Vichy. D’inspiration coloniale anglaise ou savoyarde, ils ont été érigés à partir de 1863 par l'architecte Jean Lefaure.
