It represents one -of the modern advances in the perfecting of apiarian appliances, and Mr. Bing- ham deserves the thanks of all progres- sive apiarists for his efforts to aid in facilitating the management of bees. In a letter to us he says: "I have a letter from Mr. O. J. Heth- erington, in which he says, 'It is just. Binfjlumi Perfect Safety Bee-Smoker. the thing.' Dibbern, in the Western Plowman, says this about the "dark cloud " that worried bee-keepers the past few weeks: But happily there is a "silver lin- ing "to this cloud of general despair. Rains and cold weather have brought out the white clover in the best possible condition. With fairly good weather during the next six weeks, we will in all probability secure the best honey crop we have had in three years.
