Twoand one-half miles east of the village and onthe county-line road between Chautauqua andCattaraugus, is the village of Clear Creek, andone and one-fourth miles north of the latterplace on lot 7 is Conewango Valley, a stationon the Buffalo & Southwestern railroad. Fromthis place a bus runs twice a day, carrying mailand passengers to and from Ellington via ClearCreek. Four and one-half miles to the southis Kennedv, in Poland ; a station on the Erie.
