Fore wing with slight fulvous streak below apical half of costa. Hind wing with the lobe on inner margin very short and clothed with yellow and black hair. Hah. Head and thorax black; palpi streaked with white ; neck crimson ; sboiilders and coxae with patches of white; femora striped with white ; abdomen blue-black, the ventral surface white ; wings hyaline, the veins and margins black. Fore wing with discoidal biack spot; the area below vein 1 black, with slight hyaline streak towards tornus; the terminal band expanding widely on apical area ; veins 4, 5 almost from a point. Hind wing with veins 4, 5 approximated to 6, and the costal area narrow. Abdomen hardly constricted at 2nd segment. Hah. Ecuador, Chiguinda (Bucklet/). Exp. 30 millim. Type t in Coll. Druce. B.
