In the little court down below — which alsois of great beauty — there is a chapel containinga representation of the Last Supper in life-sized LOCARNO. 351 coloured statues as at Varallo, which has a gooddeal of feeling, and a fresco (?) behind it which oughtto be examined, but the chapel is so dark that thisis easier said than done.
