There is also considerable stress acrossthe tent directly between the two rings or places of of these stresses may be provided for by a reenforcement con-sisting of one-half width of the goods used in constructing the tent,sewed entirely across the full-length strips of the middle section andextending 2 or 3 feet onto each of the side sections.
