After a crash like thunder, rays or jets ofsteam issue from the rocks, probably from a cavern near the Lysebunden passes lead to Aardal (see below; one day);E. to Granheim in the Siitersdal (see p. 4); S. to Fitjeland (30 Kil.) or toAadneram, both in the Siredal (p. 108); and over the Okelro-Fjeld andthrough the Blaastel-Dal, passing Ekeskog, with the beautiful Maanefos, tothe Frafjord (40 Kil. ; see below).
