PHILLIPINE SEA (Feb. 23, 2022) Explosive Ordnance Disposal Technician 2nd Class Cole Adey, from Akron, Ohio, conducts a helicopter visit, board, search and seizure (HVBSS) drill aboard the Ticonderoga-class guided-missile cruiser USS Mobile Bay (CG 53) in conjunction with the Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS Abraham Lincoln (CVN 72). Abraham Lincoln Strike Group is on a scheduled deployment in the 7th Fleet area of operations to enhance interoperability through alliances and partnerships while serving as a ready-response force in support of a free and open Indo-Pacific region.
