On official paper, with large vignette heading representing theGoddess of Liberty, seated. This vignette, the most important of this series, was drawn and engraved byAppiani and Mercoli, and used on all of Bonapartes official papers, from theyear VI (1797) until he became First Consul. He also made use of it duringhis Egyptian Campaign, but with a changed heading.
