Recruits of Mike Company, 3rd Recruit Training Battalion, finish a three-mile run during an initial physical fitness test at Marine Corps Recruit Depot San Diego, Feb. 19. The run was the second portion of the event, after the pull-ups and before the crunches. Annually, more than 17,000 males recruited from the Western Recruiting Region are trained at MCRD San Diego. Mike Company is scheduled to graduate April 15.
