At present he is presiding overthe Scandinavian meetings at Draper,which office he has held for twenty-fiveyears. In civil life he has served asschool trustee, postmaster, etc. He isthe father of twelve children—eightsons and four daughters. SNOW, XVillard L., a prominentElder in the Draper Ward, is a son ofWillard Snow and Melvina Harvey, andwas born in Lee county, Iowa, March8, 1842. With his parents he emigratedto Utah in 1847, in Jedediah M. Grantscompany, and located in Salt Lake. City. In 1856 he was baptized by JeterClinton, and moved to Sugar HouseWard, Salt Lake county, in 1867. In1S89 he moved to Draper, his presenthome. April 15, 18o5, he married SarahAnn Boyer, and on April 13, 1874, heyielded oVjedience to the principle ofplural marriage by taking to wife FloraL. Mousley. These wives have bornehim nineteen children, seventeen ofwhom are living. He was ordained anElder in 1862, and subsequently he wasordained a Seventy by Pres. SeymourB. Young. Feb. 4, 1901, he was or-dained a High Priest by Apostle Abra- ham O. Woodruff. Elder Snow hasalways been an industrious and thriftyworker for the cause of God; he passedthrough the many struggles and hard-! hips which fell to the lot of the earlysettlers in Utah.
