SILVERDALE, Wash. (Nov. 5, 2016) Shawna Anderson, a training clerk at Naval Base Kitsap (NBK) Bangor’s Navy Exchange (NEX), assists children with writing letters and drawing pictures for their care package during the NEX Cares Event. The NEX Cares Event provides everything you need to write notes, create artwork, build and mail a care package to deployed service members. NBK-Bangor’s NEX is the first submarine base to host the NEX Cares event.
