My headquarters were firstat Father Cahalens, the successor of Bishop Kelly, and then atSt. Josephs Sanatarium, where I lived like a prince. I was a day late for the astronomical meeting, which had be-gun that morning, but I was in good time for the reception atthe observatory, at 8 o clock.
