Tomb of Prince Leopold Emmanuel Jean Marie of Liechtenstein (1984-1984) at the Royal Crypt in Laeken, Belgium

A little south of the royal castle in Castle, you can find the neo-gothic Church of Our Lady, initially built as a mausoleum for queen Louise-Marie, wife of Leopold I, whose children included Leopold II of Belgium and Empress Carlota of Mexico. The architect was Joseph Poelaert, designer of the famed Brussels Palace of Justice. The church contains the royal crypt, where the members of the Belgian Royal Family are buried. Prince Leopold Emmanuel Jean Marie of Liechtenstein (Brussels, 20 May 1984 Brussels, 20 May 1984) died on the very same day he was born and is buried at the Royal Crypt in Brussels as his father Prince Nikolaus of Liechtenstein was the Ambassador of Liechtenstein in Belgium at the time.
