FORT IRWIN, Calif. – Utilizing cover and concealment, a Trooper from Blackjack Troop, 1st Squadron, 11th Armored Cavalry Regiment, replicating a guerilla fighter, engages elements of the 155th Armored Brigade Combat Team, Mississippi Army National Guard, during their assault into the National Training Center’s city of Razish, May 30, 2017. This phase of NTC Rotation 17-07 challenged the “Dixie Thunder” Brigade’s ability to capture an urban objective while simultaneously addressing a wide-area security threat.
