Thin spires of St Erik Domkyrka (Cathedral) seen from Gamla Torget (Old Market Place), Uppsala, Uppland, Sweden.
Cathedral was commenced circa 1270, and finally consecrated 1435. It was almost completely destroyed by fire in 1702, after which it was restored by Carl Hårleman. It was further restored between 1885 and 1893 by Helgo Zetterwall who added the steeples.
