The church here is completed, the first Pro-testant church, at Hot Springs, Va. OurMethodist friends made an effort to buildbut were unable, and have now given uptheir lot for the present, though they hope tobuild in the future. Our Episcopal friendsare now trying to raise the money to buildwhich shows that both these denominationsregard it as important to have churches atthis place, although their membership is muchsmaller than ours.
