Doncaster, South Yorkshire. – A Royal Air Force Vickers Wellesley bomber aircraft of 76 Squadron at RAF Finningley, near Doncaster in South Yorkshire. The Vickers Wellesley was a medium bomber that was designed and produced by the British aircraft manufacturer Vickers-Armstrongs at Brooklands, near Weybridge, Surrey. In April 1937, was the first RAF squadron to be equipped with Wellesleys.
