Ras Mohammed National Park, Egypt. Orange Lyretail Anthias collected around coral outcrop of Shark Reef in the Red Sea.


The orange fish are female Lyretail Anthias (Pseudanthias squamipinnis, Scalefin Anthias, Sea Goldies, Lyretail Coralfish). The half pink, half white fish slightly left of centre in the foreground is a male Lyretail Anthias. The half black, half white fish slightly right of centre in the background is a Chocolatedip Chromis (Chromis dimidiata, Chocolate Dip Damselfish, Two-tone Chromis, Two-tone Damselfish). The mustard coloured coral with white tips right of centre in the foreground is Net Fire Coral (Millepora dichotoma).
