The tendency for the catches to return to the former level is evidenced by the pinks and chums, but neither the cohos nor longs have recovered to any marked degree. The cause of these differences is not apparent. KING COVE This small fishery, carried on chiefly in King Cove Lagoon, has produced chiefly chums and a few pinks. It has not been contuiuous, and the yield has been subject to wide fluctuations.
