Islands of Orkney, Scotland. Picturesque view of the ruined remains of the Earl’s Palace at Bisray. Built between 1569 and 1574 by Earl Robert Stewart, an illegitimate son of King James V of Scotland. The palace is now managed by Historic Scotland and is open to visitors.
