OSAN, Republic of Korea (March 12, 2017) Naval pilot Lt. James Lyons, assigned to "The Providers" of Fleet Logistics Support Squadron (VRC) 30 gives a flight safety brief to distinguished guests before they depart to USS Carl Vinson (CVN-70). The Carl Vinson Carrier Strike Group is on a regularly scheduled Western Pacific deployment as part of the Pacific Fleet-led initiative to extend the command and control functions of 3rd Fleet.
