Adolf Meyer (1866-1950), Swiss-US psychiatrist. Meyer was the first chief psychiatrist of the Johns Hopkins Hospital (1910-1941), overseeing the development of the Henry Phipps Psychiatric Clinic. He was also president of the American Psychiatric Association (1927–28).
