Made in 1940s for the US Military with wooden body to resist humidity in Pacific war theatre and clamshell construction to close for beach landings by marines. Flash bulb reflector attaches through 3-pin socket. No rangefinder but uses peep sight (not shown) and wire frame which fold out from body.
