Following his election victory against Norman Lamb MP, New Liberal Democrats leader Tim Farron MP is introduced as the party's new leader at a rally at Islington Assembly rooms. The new leader paid tribute to Nick Clegg who resigned after the party's crushing defeat in the general election in May 2015. He also praised his opponent Norman Lamb, who in turn offered his full support to Farron.
