Abingdon, England - 20 April 2020; no people in view. Saint Helen's Wharf is a noted beauty spot on the River Thames, just upstream of the medieval bridge at Abingdon-on-Thames. But here we see it in an unusual light; low light in the early morning casts an array of dark, threatening shadows on the walls of fine old houses facing the river. On a brighter note, though, it's springtime, and the trees are just turning to leaf.
