The section of St. Mark's Place, between 2nd and 3rd Avenues, is a popular shopping destination. A wide variety of retailers includes tattoo artists, vintage clothes shops, restaurants and open-fronted market-stalls selling sunglasses, clothing and jewellery. The 5-storey tenement building, located at 96-98 St Mark's Place (seen here) was used an sleeve design for Led Zeppelin's 1975 album, 'Physical Graffiti'. The 'Fun City Tattoo' is located next door, in the basement of 94 's Place.
