Holm, who has an office in the Pulitzer Build-ing, is a hard worker and may be set down as one of NewYorks most prosperous lawyers. An idea of his businessmay be gleaned from the statement that he has six assistantsconstantly emjjloyed, three of them in the profession. Amonghis clients are such by establishment as the ConsumersBrewing Company of New York, limited. Pains Protec-tive Company of New York and London, the Butchers StockTrust, Koscher Meat and Sausage Company, Eagle Dis-. r. tillery, MeyerCage Manufacturing Company, and QuintupleIron Company. He also acts as counsel for the LawyersTitle Insurance Company of New York. Mr. Holm wasborn in this city in 1862, and received the rudiments of hiseducation in the public schools. He was sent to Euro])eto complete his studies, and spent seven years in the Ger-man University of Rostock. He graduated from ColumbiaCollege and received the degree of Mr. Holm is amember of Herman Lodge, and has attained the thirty-second degree in Masonry. ANDREW J. CAMPBELL. Andrew J. Camijbell, one of New Yorks prominentbuilders, was born in Newark, N. J., on July 5, 1828. Atthe age of five he went to live with his grandfather, WilliamCampbell, a farmer near Hackensack, N. J., whose father .served three years in the Federal army of the AmericanRevolution. From ten to fourteen the boy did a manswork on the farm, attending the village school,
