Trolleybus, North Street, Wolverhampton, 1920s. One of Wolverhampton Corporation Transport's trolleybuses (No. 10) in front of the Town Hall in North Street. It is believed that the photograph was taken around the 1920s - the same decade that the converted tramway officially opened (on October 29, 1923). Note the connection rods on the roof that make contact with the overhead lines. The Wolverhampton coat of arms can be seen on the side of the trolleybus. The destination of this bus appears to be Fordhouses near Wolverhampton
