The opening of the bust was also timed to coincide with the 25th anniversary of the beginning of the work of the Massandra Palace as a museum. His collection is based on exhibits from the funds of the Vorontsov Palace in Alupka and items from the Crimean south coast estates, previously owned by members of the imperial families.
