The unusual pedestrian bridge that crosses the main A5 in Atherstone. Named by locals as the curly wurley bridge due to it's design the bridge takes walkers from the Carolyn Industrial estate along Well Spring Close, over the dual carraigeway A5 and onto the Witherley Road next to the High School. Often used as a shortcut by pupils and workers the bridge is due to be demolished in 2022 as it has been deemed unsafe. A new bridge is set to take it's place ending over half a century of use.
