A Roman marble base with feet and tree stump of a statue of Apollo, 1st - 2nd century, Base plate of 7 cm height, the lateral surfaces straight at the front with two rectangular connecting holes and rounded at the back. On the base two sandal-clad feet of a figure striding to the left in front of a tree stump, their posture corresponding to a Roman copy reminding of the statue of Apollo (Apollo Belvedere) attributed to the Hellenistic sculptor Leochares.
