Hurricane Katrina, Baton rouge, LA November 9, 2005 - The LSU Agricultural Center held a media tour to show off the many innovations in "LaHouse," a concept building which exhibits "stronger, safer, and smarter" constuction materials and practices. Designed to withstand the many environmental conditions that affect homes along the Gulf Coast, LaHouse has attracted the attention of FEMA along with the insurance and construction industries.
