On either side the stamped inscription "+++ SOLI +++ DEO +++ GLORIA +++ A+N+N+O +++ I+6+5+8 +++" within the fuller. On both sides of the root fine decorative etching of stags in a forest landscape. Iron knuckle-bow hilt with ornamentally chiselled grip ferrule and shell-shaped guard. Pommel, knuckle-bow and quillons featuring staghorn elements with studs. Length 92 cm.
