Admission to the Senior and Middle classes is deter-mined by a preliminary examination conducted by the faculty,followed by a final examination by a State Board of Examin-ers. These examinations are held in June each year. Thedate is fixed by the Superintendent of Public Instruction, andis usually announced in February or March preceding the ex-aminations. The results of the preliminary examinations aregiven to the State Examiners, with the recommendation ofsuccessful applicants. 2.
